Newly Functional

Originally, a bank of cabinets filled the wall where this breakfast table is now positioned. Removing them opened up the space, softening its appearance and making room for an inviting and much used seating area. The alternating checkerboard tones of the cork tile floor lend just the right hint of warmth to the otherwise cool room. These natural tiles, made from remnant cork, are especially soft and durable and also absorb noise.
